Synopsis
Series in nine volumes, Arthur is an adaptation of the arthurien myth which is faithful to the ancient texts of this legend. The authors have provided a large documentary work up the series, to offer an exciting vision of this mythology. For the sake of fidelity, the authors have kept the original names, which do not always easier to read.
The series incorporates a magical dimension, so pasting more than close to the kind of mythological story. Each volume stops more particularly on one or two characters, with several background frames (ancient legends, Merlin shares). As a whole, the series offers a very large number of characters and places, times and interwoven stories that require some attention on the part of the drive if it is not to get lost on the road. But the richness of the proposed account, on which reign epic blow worth widely.
The series consists of three cycles of three volumes, forming a complete history.
The first depicts central characters (Myrddin, Arthur and Gwalchmei) and the rise of Arthur guided by Merlin.
The second recounts the love stories of secondary, but nonetheless famous characters such as Tristan and Isolde, taking place during the reign of Arthur.
The third cycle will re-Center on the reign of Arthur, narrating the adventures of Peredurus, Gwenhwyfar obligations and the battle of Camlan, between Arthur and his nephew Medrawt.

Jérôme Lereculey

Jérôme lereculey (Saint-Malo, January 12, 1970) is a French comic strip cartoonist, residing in Cancale.

Biography
It begins at the origin of scientific studies in a textile engineering school after ladeen follows extracurricular courses in regional school of fine arts in Rennes for eight years, before the evening courses now in Mulhouse. He participated in the creation of the fanzine Rennes Sneezy with other designers such as Stéphane duval, and teaches the strip.

Biography
After a BTS of unemployment followed international trade, David Chauvel discovered with V for Vendetta that comic narrative freedom that he was not suspected. Having contacted the Sneezy studio, he met Fred Simon in the early 90s, with which he began to editions Delcourt series Rails. Over the years, he became one of the most productive writers of the editor. In addition to the albums that he wrote, he become Director of collection at Delcourt series: COPS collection “7” and the (Collection Impact) or he supervises series: Watch, Flamingo, Akademy, and aegis.
